Picture Perfect Show Day in June

What a B-E-A-utiful day for showing off our Mane Man, and show off they did claiming Champion of their 2’3 division with 2-1st place and 2-2nd place ribbons.  Today also challenged our team with their first 2’6 division ride placing a 2nd and a 4th.

Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world…in this case it’s horse shoes!

2 Shows in 1 Long Weekend

Going into the first of 2 shows this long weekend there is all smiles as she collects her well earned 1st place, 2-4th place and a 6th place ribbon  against a very large group of stiff competition in her only division of the day, we didn’t want too tired of a horse and rider for tomorrows events.

Second show of this weekend again saw them competing against large groups and stiff competition.  Two divisions today gained them a lot of points and 2-1st place, 2nd place, 2-6th place ribbons.

Great job, keep up the good work!

Year End Awards

This picture says it all, the love and connection between a girl and her horse.

Cadence and Spartan were Champions in both their divisions in a cold, winter series.  We took some time after to capture them together with Spartan displaying their Year End Award ribbons.  We are very happy with the results from their first show series, they both did amazing!

Now on to summer series where they will be competing at a higher level at two different locations in two different series, looking like it will be a busy summer, hope it’s not too hot.

Summer series starts NOW!

Our MANE man (Spartan) isn’t so MANE anymore 🙁   …  Moving up to higher divisions forced his long flowing mane to be CHOPPED. Don’t worry big guy, everyone still thinks your handsome.

The first summer show at Meadowlark Stables was very rewarding. Spartan, placing very well in 2 divisions with 1 first, 2 seconds, 3 thirds a fourth and a sixth along with division champion ribbon gave Cadence a good start to this series.

We have decided to ride in 2 summer series shows at the 2′ 3″ and 2′ 6″ height, then if all goes well move up to the 3′ level for the winter series next year. It is going to be interesting to see how far this team will go.
