The HK-Calf Puller 2060, featuring a 52cm Flexi Frame and including components #10140-0 and #106820, is a highly advanced calving assistance tool designed to minimize injury to both cow and calf. Its tension-limiting HK 2060 mechanism is a crucial feature, preventing excessive force during the pulling process. Without regulation, calf pullers can generate tensile forces up to 600kg, posing a significant risk of injury. However, for normal births, forces up to 160kg are sufficient. The HK Rheintechnik Mechanism 2060 addresses this by incorporating a freely adjustable tension control that locks the lever when the pre-set force is reached, ensuring controlled and safe extraction. An emergency release function is also included for critical situations. The 6' galvanized shaft provides a robust and durable framework, while the HK Flexi Frame effectively prevents slippage, enhancing stability and safety. This puller also boasts a lightweight aluminum ratchet construction, reducing user fatigue. It features two hooks for calving ropes, ensuring equal tension distribution, and a user-friendly quick-release mechanism that functions even under load. The mechanism's 360° mobility around the tube offers unparalleled flexibility, allowing for optimal positioning and control during calving.
